Read to Rise: Growing Readers, Building Confidence
We are so excited to share our Read to Rise project. We are partnering with Brock Elementary to help implement a Reading Circle Program designed to encourage a love of reading, strengthen literacy skills, and build confidence in young readers.
This program is about more than books — it’s about connection, encouragement, and showing children that their voices, thoughts, and growth matter. Through reading circles, students will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful reading experiences with caring adults who can help inspire, support, and cheer them on.
We’re currently looking for volunteer readers to join us in making a difference. Volunteers are asked to commit to reading with students a minimum of 2 times per month, with the opportunity to serve up to 4 times per month.
Whether you’re a passionate reader, a community advocate, or simply someone who wants to pour into the next generation, your time can have a lasting impact. Even a small commitment can help a child feel seen, supported, and empowered.
If you would like to volunteer or learn more about how you can be part of the Read to Rise mission, we would love to hear from you.
We are also looking for books to donate to the classroom so reach out if you have some books to donate and we will arrange pick up or drop off!
Together, we can help our children rise — one story, one smile, and one reading circle at a time.
